For my client, a Private Bank in Zurich and a subsidiary of one of the largest banks in the world, we are looking to hire a highly qualified Finance Expert to join the team on a fixed-term contract for around 9 months; presumably until April 2023.
The Financial Accountant will participate in monthly accounting processes and reportings in accordance to Swiss GAAP and IFRS
Your Responsibilities- Monthly preparation of the internal financial reporting to the Group entities (IFRS)
- Support the regulatory reporting to FINMA, SNB (using the tool FiRE)
- Annual preparation of the external financial statements according to Swiss GAAP
- Liaise with internal/external auditors
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies and applicable accounting standards
- VAT and other Withholding taxes reports
- general bookkeeping tasks when requested/needed
- etc.
- Qualified Accountant, University Degree etc.
- at least 5 years working experience in the accounting area, preferably in an international banking organization
- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, such as Swiss GAAP, IFRS and a good understanding/Know-How in Regulatory reporting (FINMA, SNB) as well as Tax reporting
- use of T24, Abacus, FiRE is highly welcome
- organized, reliable and attention to detail
