For our client, a well-known international private bank based in Zurich, we are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional as Credit Officer (m/w/d) with immediate availability.
Responsibilities- Providing of and collaboration in solutions and risk oriented support to the relationship managers
- Processing of credit applications and preparation of approval templates for submitting to authorized persons
- Application and monitoring of limits for counterparties and financial institutions including involvement in the approval process
- Ensuring the settlement of loans in a timely manner, preparation of related credit contracts for all loan types and further administrative activities
- Monitoring of the entire credit portfolio with regard to overdrafts and collateral shortfalls including support of the relationship managers regarding remediations
- Process of month- and quarter-end activities in the lending business
- Review of relevant SNB-reporting and creation of large exposure- and million credit reporting according to EU supervisory law
- Monitoring of adherence to legal regulations and internal guidelines of the bank relating to the lending business
- Collaboration in the implementation of regulatory credit changes
- Supporting of external and internal auditors
- Preparation of credit reporting based on the development and monitoring of the credit portfolio
- Participation in the development of the lending business processes
- Collaboration in cross-functionally projects
- Preparation of internal guidelines and process-documentations
- Banking apprenticeship with additional education in Credits
- Relevant professional experience in credit-relevant legal and supervisory regulations
- Excellent analytic and technical skills combined with an ability to apply these in a practical and balanced manner
- Well-organized self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently
- Engaged, flexible and open-minded personality who is able to successfully operate in a dynamic and international environment
- Strong skills in prioritization and interpersonal skills are essential
