For our client, a well-known international bank in Zurich, we are currently looking for a highly motivated and reliable individual as Legal Trainee on an 18-months basis with an immediate start.
Responsibilities:- Advisement on general and specific corporate banking matters
- Draft and review legal documentation in relation to debt issues and similar within the field
- Negotiation of legal documentation with issuers and/or corporate banking clients
- Advice and Legal support to Debt Capital Market in correspondence with potential issuers
- Control of term sheets, syndication confirmation, power of attorneys relating to new debt issues and other transactions
- Preparation of final documentation for execution, sending documentation for signature as well as organizing the prospectus printing, distributing the signed document
- Master's Degree in Law or similar such as MBL type with primary knowledge of Swiss Law
- 6+ months of internship experience within a law firm or a bank
- Solid analytical skills as well as strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient language skills in German, English and good knowledge in French
- Ability to adapt, work independently and well under pressure
- Organized, well-structured, priority-based work ethic as well as attention to detail with a fast-paced attitude
- Ability to build and maintain good relationships with different contact persons on all hierarchical levels alongside a discrete and respect of confidentiality based behavior
- Further interest and knowledge within the areas of Corporate Banking as well as Structured Finance and Capital Markets
