Responsibilities
- Ownership of the roadmap and development of custom software solutions built in-house or in collaboration with external partners
- Shaping architectural and technology decisions while ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices
- Design, development and maintenance of robust front- and backend software that is user-friendly, secure, efficient, and able to adapt to evolving stakeholder needs
- Ensuring sustainable operations together with IT operations, evaluating emerging technologies and driving continuous improvement
- University degree (University/ETH or University of Applied Sciences) with a major in Computer Science
- +10 years of relevant professional experience in software engineering with solid background in both backend and frontend development
- Expert knowledge of modern web technologies, frameworks and programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python
- Strong practical experience with databases, cloud technologies, DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines and container technologies
- Confident communication skills in German and English, a pragmatic, solution-oriented working style, and the ambition to bring software solutions to the next level
