For our client, a leading company in the Swiss financial services sector, we are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer for a temporary 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. Based in Zurich, you will join an agile Scrum team and help design, develop, and deliver innovative software solutions for a business-critical platform.
Your Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement complex software features for the Swiss financial market
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional Scrum teams
- Take end-to-end ownership of software solutions, from architecture and implementation to deployment and operations
- Contribute to technical solution design and architectural decisions
- Continuously improving development processes, software architecture, and engineering practices
- Perform code reviews and promote high-quality software through automated testing and clean coding standards
- Support the delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable applications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 4–6 years of experience in full stack software development (Java)
- Experience working on complex software projects in agile, cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and software engineering skills
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and Angular
- Experience building modern web applications
- Familiarity with microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, and container platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift) is a plus
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Proactive, accountable, and quality-focused
- Comfortable collaborating with diverse stakeholders
- Fluent German and English (spoken and written)
