For our client, a well-established international family office, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Assistant – Front Office to join its Zurich office on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and service-oriented banking professional to support Relationship Managers in the day-to-day management of sophisticated private clients and family offices. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering first-class client service while ensuring the smooth execution of operational and administrative processes.
Your Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive day-to-day support to Relationship Managers in servicing high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
- Execute client transactions, including payments, securities trades, and foreign exchange transactions
- Coordinate and manage account opening and account closing processes for both private and corporate clients
- Monitor client cash positions and support cash management activities
- Prepare client documentation, presentations, and meeting materials
- Handle client enquiries and coordinate requests with internal departments, ensuring timely and professional follow-up
- Support e-banking administration, reconciliations, security openings, and other client-related operational matters
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure all information within internal CRM systems remains up to date
- Coordinate legal entity documentation and support related administrative processes
- Assist with compliance-related activities, including KYC documentation and regulatory requirements, in close collaboration with Compliance and Relationship Managers
- Initiate, monitor and follow up on client transactions while ensuring efficient execution and resolution of outstanding items
- Maintain complete and accurate client files and documentation
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, and Compliance to ensure an outstanding client experience
- Provide support to other Relationship Managers whenever required
- Several years of professional experience in a similar Assistant, Client Service or Relationship Management Support role within Private Banking or Wealth Management
- Solid understanding of private banking products, client onboarding processes, and investment-related transactions
- Experience supporting high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, payments, securities transactions, and account administration
- Familiarity with KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements within the Swiss banking environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a structured, reliable, and proactive working style
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a strong client service mindset
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
- Fluent in English; additional languages, particularly German, would be considered an advantage
